government's Treebate program. Please provide the following information up to
the 31 August 2025 and to date if available.(1) How may applications for tree rebates have

Hon Samantha Rowe replied:I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question and provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for the Environment.(1) As of 31 August 2025, there had been 2,620
applications for tree rebates received. As of 10 September 2025, there have
been 3,143 applications for tree rebates received.(2) As of 31 August 2025, 260 applications for
tree rebates were declined. As of 10 September 2025, 305 applications for tree
rebates were declined.(3) Asof 31 August 2025, 62
applications for tree rebates were waiting to be processed. As of 10 September,
50 applications for tree rebates were waiting to be processed.(4)As of
31 August 2025, 1,894 tree rebates had been paid. A further 404 applications
had been approved and were paid on Tuesday 2 September 2025. As of 10 September
2025, 2,288 tree rebates had been paid. A further 500 applications had been
approved and will be paid on Tuesday 16 September 2025. I note that payments
are processed on a weekly payment cycle.
