I refer to page 30 of the 2017 Annual Report for the Department of Agriculture and Food WA and I ask the Minister to explain how the Department is working with Dairy Australia, Western Dairy, SW Catchment Council, and supply chain stake holders?

Dairy Australia
DPIRD provides Dairy Australia with information on the number of licenced dairies; transport routes and priorities; and relevant state regulations (eg environmental standards on separation distance and effluent management).
Western Dairy
DPIRD is contributing $800,000 to Western Dairy for a 5 year research transition project. The project commenced June 2015. Dairy Australia also contributes to the project.
DPIRD ensures technical representation on the Western Dairy Technical Advisory Committee.
DPIRD has continued to make the Vasse Research Facility available for Western Dairy free of charge.
DPIRD participates on the WA Dairy Industry Growth Committee.
SW Catchment Council (SWCC)
DPIRD provides accommodation and facilities for the SWCC at the Bunbury and Narrogin offices.
DPIRD collaborates with SWCC where strategic objectives align.
Supply chain stake holders
DPIRD provides works approval support to small processors including:
DPIRD works across the supply chain to support the local dairy industry through the Buy West Eat Best (BWEB) food labelling program. BWEB Membership is based across the entire supply chain from producers, processors, retailers and restaurants. Its aim is to grow the value and consumption of locally produced food and coordinates collective marketing of small, medium and large producers.
Within the State’s dairy industry, the following companies are BWEB members:
