Minister for Transport:
I refer to the Minister for Transport's recent claim
that 35 500 people will be cleared by trains from the proposed Burwood station
within an hour.
(1) How many trains will be required to achieve this task?
(2) How many railcar sets will need to be used to achieve
this task?
(3) How many
trains can travel down a single track on the Perth rail network using the
current signalling?
(4) What
upgrades to signalling and tracks are required to remove 35 500 people within
an hour?
