(a) The catalyst for the amendments was the Commonwealth T herapeutic Goods and Other Legislation Amendment (Vaping Reforms) Act 2024 , to ensure that vapes remain prescription only and are not available at pharmacies over the counter in Western Australia.
(b) No specific public consultation was conducted prior to finalisation.
