I refer to the Therapeutic Goods Law Application (Local Regulations) Regulations 2024 , and I ask: (a) what was the catalyst for bringing about these amendments to the regulations; (b) who was consulted prior to these amendment regulations being finalised; (c) did any person consulted raise any concerns; (d) if yes to (c), what were these concerns; (e) in reference to (d), have the finalised amendment regulations addressed these concerns; and (f) if no to (e), why not?

(a) The catalyst for the amendments was the Commonwealth T herapeutic Goods and Other Legislation Amendment (Vaping Reforms) Act 2024 , to ensure that vapes remain prescription only and are not available at pharmacies over the counter in Western Australia.
(b) No specific public consultation was conducted prior to finalisation.
(c)- (f) Not applicable.
