I refer to the post-November 2010 fire rehabilitation of John Forrest National Park, and I ask -
(1) Has the Department undertaken any activities to inhibit the re-emergence of weeds, and specifically Watsonia in the area?
(2) If yes to (1), can the Minister please specify the activities and when they took place?
(3) If no to (1), why not?

(2) Not applicable.
(3) The most effective time to control watsonia with spraying is when flower spikes start to emerge, which generally occurs from September to November. It is anticipated that spraying will commence in John Forrest National Park during September 2011.
