I refer to funding agreements entered into by the Department of Regional Development as referenced on page 62 of the annual report, and I ask: (a) why did the number of agreement entered into in 2013-14 decrease; (b) what was the total number and value of agreements entered into in 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14; and (c) what was the total value of projects acquitted in each of 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14?

(a) The number of agreements entered into by DRD did not decrease in 2013-14. At the time of writing the annual report the number of agreements signed were less than the previous year. On auditing the number of agreements at the end of financial year it was found the number of agreements signed in the last month of the financial year - June, was greater than previous years - a total of 30 agreements were signed in the month of June.
