(a) how many advertising, media or promotional campaign contracts have been awarded;
(b) when was each contract signed;
(c) what is the cost of each of the contracts;
(d) what is the duration of each contract;
(e) what are the commencement and end dates for each contract;
(f) what projects or programs will each contract be promoting;
(g) what forms of advertising, media or promotion does each contract consist of; and
(h) what is the name of each company that has been awarded a contract?

(a) In February 2011, the Department of Regional Development and Lands advertised a panel contract for the provision of creative advertising services, awarding one contract (CT068610) to a panel of two suppliers.
(b) The contract (CT068610) for the provision of creative advertising services was awarded on 7 April 2011.
(c) The estimated contract value (ECV) over the 3-year contract life is $600 000.
(d) Three years.
(e) 7 April 2011 to 7 April 2014.
(f) Advertising campaigns will be conducted throughout the 3-year life of the contract to raise awareness and keep all Western Australians informed of programs funded by Royalties for Regions, how to apply for grant and funding opportunities and inform the general public of the benefits of relocating to live, work and invest in regional Western Australia, as required under the
Royalties for Region Act 2009
.
(g) The creative advertising material, media strategy and resulting media plans are determined through selection of the most effective medium for reaching the target audience, including but not limited to the use of television, print and online/digital mediums. The media placement is booked through a separate contract, the whole-of-government Common Use Arrangement (15907) for media buying services.
