Six workers commenced in September 2003, eight commenced in October 2003, and, so far, one worker has commenced in November 2003. The Minister for Police will respond in relation to the domestic violence police officers. (2) Child protection workers are at Armadale; Fremantle; Midland; Mirrabooka; Princess Margaret Hospital’s evidentiary unit, four officers; Rockingham; Mandurah; Broome; Derby; Halls Creek; Roebourne; and Port Hedland. I now turn to the response from the Minister for Police. (1)-(2) The Western Australia Police Service advises that a total of 14 child protection and family violence officers have been appointed.
