The Minister Replied:
No payments were made by the Health Department of Western Australia in 1999/2000 to the firm Skea, Nelson and Hager
However, two payments were made by the Metropolitan Health Service totalling $4 223.
Payment (1) :
(a) $3,335.
(b) The provision of various services associated with the preparation of lease documents relating to the lease of the properties at Units 3, 4 and 5, 14 Chesterfield Road Mirrabooka, and 20 Chesterfield Road Mirrabooka.
(c) The firm was engaged by a Property Adviser acting on behalf of the Metropolitan Health Service in securing the leasing of the properties referred to in (b). The firm was selected from the panel of legal advisers identified by Contracts and Management Services.
Payment (2) :
(a) $888.
(b) Preparation of a lease document relating to accommodation at James Street (No. 223), Northbridge for Inner City Mental Health Service.
(c) Chosen from Commercial Property Branch of Treasury's consultant panel, for the provision of legal services to the Property Panel (ie Government procedure/practice).
