POLICE OFFICERS - LEAVE WITHOUT PAY
(1) Can the minister advise how many police officers are currently on leave without pay? (2) Of those officers on leave without pay, can the minister advise the terms of leave for each officer? Hon KIM CHANCE

On behalf of the Minister for Regional Development, I thank Hon George Cash for providing some notice of the question. (1) There were eight police officers on leave without pay as at 31 March 2007. (2) There is a table attached to this question which shows the periods of leave without pay. I table that table and seek leave to have it incorporated in Hansard . Leave granted.
