BROTHELS - NUMBER
Does the minister know how many brothels there are in Western Australia, and is there a record of the brothel owners; and, if not, why not? Hon SUE ELLERY

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. The Prostitution Law Reform Working Group reported that there are 38 brothels in Western Australia. There is no known record of brothel owners, as the sex industry is not regulated in Western Australia.
