(c) what form does the training take;
(d) who conducts the training;
(e) is the training conducted for acting, relieving and substantive Principals; and
(i) if not, which categories have training;
(f) does the training vary, depending on the size of the school for which the Principal has responsibility; and
(i) if so, what are the differences in training;
(g) is a Principal’s continued appointment subject to the successful completion of the training; and

(h) if yes to (g), how many Principals have had their appointments subsequently withdrawn as a result of unsuccessful completion of training?

(1) Public school principals are responsible for managing their own professional development in line with the performance review process and as endorsed by their line manager. The Institute for Professional Learning provides a broad range of leadership development programs that can be accessed by principals and aspiring principals.
(2) All public school principals must have completed training in Child Protection; 4WD Training in the case of Remote Community School appointees; and Records Awareness Training - Record keeping. All principals and aspiring principals may also access a broad range of professional learning throughout their careers.
(3)(a) Child Protection - two hours.
Records Awareness Training - Record keeping - two hours.
4WD Training - one day.
