Hospital infrastructure
569. Hon Simon Ehrenfeld to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Health Infrastructure:
I refer to WA's
public hospital infrastructure, which the minister conceded is old and in need of
repairs.
(1) Is the minister aware of medical equipment at
Fiona Stanley Hospital being held together by sticky tape; and, if so, can he
confirm whistleblower testimony that it will take at least eight months to
procure new equipment and six weeks to install?
(2) How many maintenance work orders were issued
for Royal Perth Hospital between January 2023 and June 2025?
(3) Of those work orders in (2), how many
specifically involved:
(a) radioactive water leaks;
(b) burst water pipes; or
(c) black mould outbreaks?
