The State Library of Western Australia offers a number of venues and spaces for hire for public displays, talks and activities. In relation to this, I ask:
(a) who makes decisions on what groups are accepted and are there written guidelines;
(b) please list all groups that have been refused since September 2008;
(c) please list all groups that have made bookings and detail any fees, concessions or waiving of fees that were applied;
(d) do listed commercial businesses such as the Australian Stock Exchange pay the same rate as not-for-profit community groups such as Thai-Australian Association of Western Australia; and
(e) does the Venues and Equipment Fees Schedule operate on a cost-recovery basis?
