The final amendments will be based on many of the recommendations of the Adoption Legislation Review, Adoption Act 1994, Final Report 1997, and will also include several housekeeping amendments to improve the operation of the Adoption Act 1994. 4. Legislative provisions pertaining to vetoes are under consideration.
