GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS —
GOVERNMENT POLICY
963. Hon TIM CLIFFORD to the minister representing the
Minister for Energy:
I refer to the McGowan government's
greenhouse gas emissions policy.
(1) Will the minister please table the minutes from the
meetings held with the following stakeholders during the development of
the policy: Chevron, Woodside, Shell, Santos, the Australian Petroleum
Production and Exploration Association, the Chamber of Minerals and Energy, the
Conservation Council of Western Australia, and the Environmental Defender's
Office?
(2) What
stakeholders will be consulted in the further development of the policy, as
highlighted by the minister; and, can the minister please table this
information?
(3) When will the greenhouse gas
emissions policy come into effect?
