(1) Does the State Government intend to pursue large-scale industrial development within the National Heritage Listed place as per the Burrup Maitland Industrial Agreement?
(2) If yes to (1), which areas is the Government still considering using that fall within the National Heritage Listed place?
(3) If yes to (1), why?
(4) If no to (1), does this compromise the intent of the Burrup Maitland Industrial Agreement?
(5) If yes to (4), how?
(6) If no to (4), why not?
(7) Specifically are the industrial areas identified as Conzinc South, Withnell East, Stage 1A and Stage 2 (West Intercourse Island), still contained within the areas of potential industrial or port development being considered by the State Government?

the Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act
(1999)
accommodates development in a National Heritage place providing the development does not have a significant impact on the National Heritage values for which the area was listed. The State will proactively manage the area in accordance with identified national heritage values.

(3) N/A.
(4) The State remains fully committed to its obligations under the Burrup and Maitland Industrial Estates Agreement.
