I refer to the following statement contained in the 2009 Annual Report of the Office of Energy, ‘The commitment for 10 percent of the electricity purchased by State Government in 2008/09 to be generated from renewable sources was met through the procurement of 54 gigawatts (GWh) of GreenPower’ and ‘The commitment for 10 percent of the electricity purchased by State Government in 2008/09 to be generated from renewable sources was met through the procurement of 54 GWh GreenPower,’ and ask -
(1) Were all of the Renewable Energy Certificate’s (REC’s) sourced from Western Australia?
(2) If no to (1), -
(a) why not; and
(b) what proportion were sourced from other States?
(3) If yes to (1), -
(a) which States were RECs purchased from; and
(b) in what proportion?
