(2) The Health, Environment and Industry Sustainability Taskforce
(3) The Taskforce comprises representatives from the following agencies:
· Department of Commerce;
· Department of Environment and Conservation;
· Department of the Premier and Cabinet;
· Department of Health;
· Department of Mines and Petroleum;
· Department for Planning and Infrastructure;
· Department of State Development; and
· Peel Development Commission.
No remuneration is paid to any representative.
(4) The Taskforce was established to advise the former Ministerial Council on Health, Environment and Industry Sustainability. The formal Taskforce no longer meets and, as such, there is no requirement for it to report. The Taskforce has evolved into an inter-agency senior officers group, which meets as required to coordinate and provide advice on industry issues that have the potential to pose a risk to human health and the environment.
