1) The Regional Investment Fund programs are usually run on the basis of annual funding rounds. The Minister for the Mid West and Wheatbelt has the responsibility for the Regional Development Scheme. The other programs are the responsibility of the Minister for Local Government and Regional Development. Officers from the Department of Local Government and Regional Development have offered to arrange a briefing on the Regional Investment Fund programs if the Member so wishes. The Mid West Regional Development Scheme operates on two rounds of funding per year with the second round of the 2006/2007 Scheme currently in progress with decisions on the applications expected by the end of April. 2) Nil Wheatbelt Development Commission 1) The Regional Investment Fund programs are usually run on the basis of annual funding rounds.
