Remuneration Parliamentary Secretaries are entitled to an Expense of Office Allowance of $1,822 per financial year to meet incidental costs. This is determined from time to time by the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal. Motor Vehicle Parliamentary Secretaries are entitled to be provided with a Government supplied motor vehicle for use on official and private business within Western Australia. Parliamentary Secretaries may make application to the Salaries and Allowances Tribunal for the issue of an electorate motor vehicle (in lieu of the electorate vehicle allowance). Telephones Parliamentary Secretaries are entitled to the use of a mobile telephone. A facsimile machine may also be installed in their private residence.
