state government superannuation fund, GESB, have either an ethical, sustainable
or fossil fuel-free portfolio option for employees?
(2) If no to (1), why not?

(1), is the ethical, sustainable or fossil fuel-free portfolio option

I thank the member for some notice
of the question.
(1) No.
(2) A
responsible investment Australian shares option was launched in 2007 and closed
in 2012, as most managers have embedded environmental, social and governance
principles into their broad share strategies. This made the original rationale
for having a dedicated responsible investment Australian shares option less
relevant.
(3)–(4) Not applicable.
