I have a supplementary question. Given the confusion surrounding the dates of these meetings, can the Treasurer state categorically that his chief of staff met with Mr Burke and Mr Grill on only two occasions? Mr E.S. RIPPER

I have corrected the information given to the upper House. That correction was based on an examination of the documents. Of course, after third parties have been consulted, as is appropriate under freedom of information legislation, the Leader of the Opposition will have every document related to these matters, and he will be able to see for himself exactly what the situation is.
