I refer to ‘the Extraordinary Taxi Ride’ and in particular leg number eight, in which the journey starts from Karratha and finishes in Broome, and I ask -
(1) What is the suggested itinerary for this journey?
(2) Where will the overnight stops be for this journey?
(3) How many hours will the passengers be in the taxi driving in between each stop of this journey?

(1) The draft itinerary for leg eight follows Highway One from Karratha along the North West Coastal Highway and the Great Northern Highway to Broome, via Port Hedland, Eighty Mile Beach and Eco Beach.
(2) The draft itinerary currently has overnight stops scheduled for Eighty Mile Beach, Eco Beach (two nights) and Broome (two nights).
(3) The intention is to have frequent stops to ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers and driver is constantly maintained. It is envisaged that between 1.5 and 2 hours would be a maximum journey time without stops.
