I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) No. (2) The Department of Mines and Petroleum has an obligation of confidentiality in relation to information that is compulsorily required by statute. Information contained in the requested environmental management plans is confidential and contains commercially sensitive information. I will also say to the member that I did offer some time ago to provide her with a thorough briefing on the whole issue of hydraulic stimulation, and she has not taken up that opportunity. I again make the offer that it would be very helpful if the member were to be fully apprised of the situation in Western Australia so that she does not unnecessarily frighten people in Western Australia. Hon Alison Xamon : There’s no unnecessary frightening occurring, I assure you.
