(1) I refer to a 1999 Private Member’s Bill by the Member for South Perth, and a subsequent Government Bill, to remove discrimination against females with regard to Government employees superannuation and ask is it now possible for widowers to automatically qualify for on-going superannuation payments following the death of their female spouses who have been superannuation scheme members and later recipients?
(2) If so, on what date did this provision become available?
(3) If not, when will the provision be applied?
