1322. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the
Minister for Education:

enrolments for each of the following schools for each of 2016, 2017 and 2018 —
(1) Inglewood Primary School;

School;

(4) Hillcrest Primary School; and
(5) Durham Road School?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
The estimated student enrolments are —
(1) Inglewood Primary School will
have 544 students in 2016, 562 in 2017 and 563 in 2018;
(2) Maylands Peninsula Primary
School will have 651 students in 2016, 673 in 2017 and 677 in 2018;
(3) Embleton Primary School will have 138 students in 2016,
134 in 2017 and 132 in 2018;
(4) Hillcrest Primary School will have 369 students in 2016,
367 in 2017 and 365 in 2018; and
(5) Durham Road School will have 185 students in 2016, 185 in
2017 and 185 in 2018.
These estimates are based on Semester 1, 2015 student
enrolments. Durham Road School is a kindergarten to year 12 education support
school for students with disability and identified needs. The Department of
Education does not prepare formal enrolment projections for education support
schools. Enrolments are managed in response to demographics, including the
number of students with an eligible disability and the nature of their
educational needs.
