STATE FLEET
680. Hon TIM CLIFFORD to the minister representing the
Minister for Finance:
(1) What is the total number of cars
in the state government fleet?
(2) Of the total
number of cars in the state government fleet, could the minister please provide
the number and model of electric vehicles in the fleet?
(3) Of the total
number of cars in the state government fleet, could the minister please provide
the number and model of electric-hybrid vehicles in the fleet?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) The total
number of passenger and light commercial vehicles financed and leased to
agencies by the Department of Finance is 8 907. In addition, there are some
agency-owned vehicles and car fleets for government trading enterprises—for
example, the Water Corporation—for which the department has no
information.
(2) There are two Nissan Leaf
hatchbacks.
(3) The total
number of vehicles is 114. The remainder of the answer provides the number and
model of the vehicles, but it is in a table, so I seek leave to have it
incorporated into Hansard .
