With regard to the Conservation Commission, I ask: (a) has the Minister met with the members and/or Chairman of the Conservation Commission, and if so, how many times; (b) what is the level of remuneration paid to the Chairman; (c) what level of remuneration is paid to board members; (d) since 1 July 2012 how many times have senior executives travelled for business purposes, to where and at what cost; and (e) have board members travelled on Commission business in the past three years and, if so, to where, and at what cost?

(a) Yes. The Minister has held meetings with the Chairman of the Conservation Commission as required and has recently met with members of the Conservation Commission.
(b) $40 700 per annum (plus superannuation at the superannuation guarantee rate).
(c) The Deputy Chairman receives $15 200 per annum (plus superannuation). Six of the seven Conservation Commission members each receive $8 700 per annum (plus superannuation). In addition, superannuation is paid at the superannuation guarantee rate. One member does not receive remuneration as he is employed as a public servant.
(d) Since 1 July 2012, the Director of the Conservation Commission has travelled three times for business purposes to the South West of Western Australia at a travel cost of $739.29.
(e) Yes. Since April 1 2011, Commissioners have travelled to South West Western Australia, Karratha and Broome at a total travel cost of $9 676.81.
