1134. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the Minister
for Education:
(1) For the year
1 April 2014 to 31 March 2015, how much money was collected by the Teacher
Registration Board in each of —
(a) application fees;
(b) annual fees;
(c) renewal fees; and
(d) late payment processing fees?
(2) How much money is currently held
in the Teacher Registration Board account?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
The period 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2015 relates to the
former Western Australian College of Teaching. The Teacher Registration Board
of Western Australia is supported by the Department of Education Services and
has adopted a 30 June financial year end. The following answer is based on the
period from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015 —
(1) (a) $746 836;
(b) $4 298 458;
(c) $132 786; and
(d) $79 815.
(2) The amount
of money held in the Teacher Registration Board account is $4 933 883 as at 14 October
2015.
