This is a question addressed to me representing the Premier. The answer I give is on behalf of the Premier and is not my own answer, although I take responsibility for it. (1) The Integrity Coordinating Group is a cross-agency venture originally established by the Commissioner for Public Sector Standards, the Corruption and Crime Commissioner, the state Ombudsman and the Auditor General. It is an informal initiative that is designed to foster greater policy coherence and operational coordination amongst those core integrity bodies with the aim of strengthening integrity across the sector. The Premier met with the Integrity Coordinating Group to discuss its role and supports its continuation. The Premier understands that the chairmanship of the group is rotated among its members, with Commissioner Len Roberts-Smith, QC, currently chairing the group. (2)-(3) Consultation on the machinery of government changes involving the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and the new Public Sector Commission were undertaken with the key stakeholders directly impacted. The Integrity Coordinating Group is not part of, nor directly impacted by, these changes. (4) Not applicable.
