The implementation strategy is the responsibility of the Government agencies and it is the Government's intention to continue to implement the initiatives contained in the strategy. Two outstanding issues are the Novice Driver Reform Package and the Repeat Drink Driver strategy. Legislation to give effect to both of these will be introduced to Parliament this year. The Road Safety Council publishes annual reports on the progress of Arriving Safely and these are tabled in Parliament. (a) Not applicable.
