DESALINATION PLANT, BINNINGUP
When considering possible sites for the state’s second desalination plant, can the minister advise - (1) What other coastal options were evaluated before Binningup was recommended as the preferred site? (2) What is the cost difference of establishing a desalination plant at Kemerton Industrial Park versus Binningup? (3) What is the cost of resuming land at Kemerton rather than at Binningup to accommodate the location of the desalination plant at Kemerton Industrial Park? (4) What is the cost of relocating the existing water treatment plant at Binningup to Kemerton Industrial Park?
