CFMEU STRIKE ACTION - DEREGISTRATION
I have a simple supplementary question for the minister. Will he commence the process of deregistering the CFMEU in Western Australia? Mr J.J.M. BOWLER

AnswerView source ↗

If the member had not interrupted my answer to his original question, he would have heard what I said. The Deputy Leader of the Opposition’s own federal colleague Kevin Andrews said that that would not help the situation. This is a federal issue; it is a federal dispute. Deregistering the union would only inflame the situation.
