I refer to part 2 of the Forest Management Regulations 1993 , "Registration of timber workers'', and I ask: (a) how many workers are currently registered to engage in timber harvesting in a State forest or timber reserve; (b) how many workers are currently registered to engage in the transport of log timber harvested in a State forest or timber reserve; (c) are there any workers registered for both timber harvesting and transport of log timber; and (d) if yes to (c), how many?

(a) There are currently 598 workers currently registered to engage in timber harvesting in accordance with the
Forest Management Regulations 1993
.
(b) There are 206 workers currently registered to engage in log hauling (transport of log timber) in accordance with the
Forest Management Regulations 1993.
(c) Yes there are timber workers registered for both harvesting and transport in accordance with the
Forest Management Regulations 1993.
(d) 70.
