DAMPIER ARCHIPELAGO — NATIONAL HERITAGE LISTING
I refer to the National Heritage listing of the Dampier Archipelago on 3 July 2007 and ask — (1) Have the commonwealth and Western Australian governments agreed to enter into a bilateral agreement for environmental approvals of proposals with the Dampier Archipelago, including the Burrup Peninsula? (2) If yes, on what date was this determined? (3) Was there an exchange of letters or a signed agreement in respect of this? (4) If yes, will the minister table such letters or agreement? (5) Will the minister identify who initiated the request to enter into such a bilateral agreement, and the motivation for it? Hon KATE DOUST
