Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Strategic Action Plan 2018–2028''.
(1) Does the
government intend to develop a whole-of-government state foetal alcohol
spectrum disorder strategy or action plan?
(2) If yes to
(1), when?
(3) If no to (1),
why not?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(3) The
government is currently developing a whole-of-government response to the
coroner's inquest into the 13 deaths of children and young people in
the Kimberley region, of which six recommendations relate specifically to
foetal alcohol spectrum disorder. The government's approach to FASD
will be developed as part of the response to the coroner's inquest.
