I refer to the comments made by the Director General of the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries during Estimates on 19 September 2017, that the move of the State Records Office (SRO) into a directorate of the State Library will provide additional administrative support to the SRO and ask: (a) what additional administrative services or support are now provided to the SRO; (b) why was this administrative support not previously available; (c) what advantages to the State and/or SRO have been identified and documented since the administrative change; and (d) how will these benefits be documented, measured and reported going forward?
