Under the
Road Safety Council Act 2002,
the Road Trauma Trust Fund receives one third of revenue resulting from red light and speed camera infringements.
In 2010, it received $14,569,430. The total revenue, including funds returned to the Consolidated Fund, was $43,708,290.
