I refer to the final report of the Sustainable Health
Review , Recommendation 2a regarding banning unhealthy food and drink promotions
from all State premises, and I ask: (a) is the department aware how much income the State Government
received in 2018-19 from unhealthy food and drink promotions; (b) if yes to (a): (i) how much; and (ii) which departments received this income; (c) if no to (a): (i) why not; and (ii) will the department undertake an audit to determine how much income the State Government receives from unhealthy food and drink advertising; (d) if no to (c)(ii), why not; and (e) if yes to (c)(ii), when?

(b)   Not applicable.
(c) (i) This information is not readily available as various forms of promotion are possible across government departments and agencies, including VenuesWest (responsible for 13 sport and entertainment venues).  For example, revenue may be sourced via state government owned or managed assets not limited to:
(ii) No.
(d) The Department of Health is developing an implementation plan to meet recommendations arising from the Sustainable Health Review. Actions to address Recommendation 2a will be a matter for consideration by Cabinet.
(e) Not applicable.
