The Department of Consumer and Employment Protection advises:
From the Employment Protection arm of DOCEP -
(1) Please refer to Question on Notice 2554.
(2) For the period 1 July to 31 December 2006, please refer to question on notice 4559. For the period 1 January to 30 June 2007, all these invoices were paid in the first week of July 2007. DOCEP processes payment runs 2-3 times a week and endeavours to ensure invoices, on receipt by the Finance branch, are processed for payment expeditiously. DOCEP makes every attempt to ensure compliance with the government directive of payment within 30 days and reminds staff of their responsibility with the use of emails throughout the year.
Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission advises:

(2) Please refer to Question on Notice 4559. Since April 2007, the responsibility for the Department's payments to creditors has been devolved to the Office of Shared Services.
