MINISTER
FOR TRANSPORT — WELD CLUB MEETING
29. Mr M. McGOWAN to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question. Is
it not the case that the Premier has no ministerial standards, in refusing to
sack this minister despite numerous breaches of the code of conduct?

AnswerView source ↗

Is it not a bit rich for the Labor Party—members of the Gallop and Carpenter
governments, of which the Leader of the Opposition was one and the member for
Midland was another; members of those governments who were compromised
absolutely before the CCC—to dare come in here and talk about
ministerial standards? Can they find anything that I have done wrong in my
public life? Name one thing in my public life that is wrong. They cannot, over
25 years.
Mr
P.B. Watson interjected.
The
SPEAKER : I call the member for Albany to order for the first time.
