(a) The New Zealand (NZ) Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (RBDM) asked to enter into an information sharing arrangement with the Western Australian (WA) RBDM.
(b) The Department of Justice consulted with the Registrar of the WA RBDM prior to amending the Births, Deaths and Marriages Regulations.
