Ms Rita Saffioti: As I said, what does the member for
Cottesloe believe in? She loved Metronet a couple of years ago, and now she
does not like it anymore. Does she ever actually go beyond the western suburbs
to see the transformation in our suburbs? Look at this Parliament. People in
the suburbs are getting the infrastructure they deserve. When it comes to the
future, we will build our hospitals, members. That is what we committed to.
Yesterday was an incredible day signing a $1.8 billion contract for expansions
at Osborne Park Hospital and the new women's and babies' hospital. That is what
we are doing. If the opposition does not believe we should be building
hospitals, that is its decision. Our decision is out there building the
hospitals, delivering to the whole state.
