906. Hon GIZ WATSON to the minister representing the
Minister for Environment:
I refer to the review of the regional forest agreement for
the south west forest region of Western Australia scheduled for 15 years after
the date of signing, which is in 2014.
(1) What resources have been allocated to this review?
(2) Who will conduct it?
(3) What community consultation will be involved in the
review process?

The resources of the Department of Environment and Conservation are directed
towards the development of the next forest management plan. This 15-year review
is not due until May 2014 and the conduct of the review has not yet been determined.
