, can the Minister advise when the Corruption and Crime Commission commenced its investigation into third party assessors?
(2) When did the Department of Transport become aware that licences were being issued without proper assessment, and how did this occur?
(3) What proper processes have been put in place to ensure that this failure of policy and process by the Department of Transport is not repeated?
(4) Has the Auditor General been consulted to scrutinise the validity of new processes?
(5) If no to (4), why not?

(2) Following a joint investigation by DoT and the CCC. The investigation is ongoing. (3) The current systems and processes identified anomalies which were acted upon and referred to the CCC. Furthermore, strengthening of contractual provisions dealing with external assessment providers; increased and enhanced analytical and risk intelligence resources and systems; and an enhanced auditing regime have been implemented. (4) No (5) DoT is continuously reviewing and enhancing its governance procedures. This has included four audits.
