The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises:
1) As of 15 June 2026:
Aassistance remains available to eligible small and medium businesses through the Premier’s Natural Disaster Recovery Fund, Tourism Business Support Package and Business Recovery Support Program.
Small and medium businesses in the impacted Shires of Ashburton, Carnarvon, Exmouth, and Upper Gascoyne may be eligible for grants up to $20,000 to support clean-up, repairs, and reinstatement of business activities.
Exmouth businesses with a direct connection to tourism that are not eligible for funding under the Tourism Business Support Package may be eligible for financial assistance up to $20,000 if they have suffered economic loss due to Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services is working closely with the Small Business Development Corporation to understand and respond to the additional recovery needs of small and medium businesses impacted by Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle, including those indirectly affected through supply chain disruptions and tourism-related impacts.
The Cook Labor Government will continue to consider recovery measures in line with the identified needs of impacted communities.
