WESTERN POWER — FORREST STREET, BODDINGTON
1234. Hon STEVE MARTIN to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Energy:
I refer to Forrest Street in
Boddington, which includes some land that has been recently developed for
housing but has an estimated power hook-up time of six to 12 months by Western
Power.
(1) Why will it take this long to
provide power to the street?
(2) Is a six-to-12-month
wait time for connection to power standard practice for Western Power in
regional Western Australia?
(3) Will the minister investigate this issue directly
with Western Power in light of the fact that some homebuyers are
expecting their transportable homes to be on site in the next two to four
months?

however, it requires further information from the honourable member,
such as the project number in question.
