I refer the Minister to the Small Business Commissioner’s report into the Construction Subcontractor Investigation, page 55, and I ask will the Minister ensure that Building Management and Works: (a) monitor and conduct random audits into the use and veracity of statutory declarations made by head contractors; and (b) ensure head contractors be made aware that this will be undertaken as standard Building Management and Works practice by including details in prequalification packages and tender documentation?
