I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) As at 8 November 2013, 5.61 full-time
equivalent AIEOs were employed.
(2) There were seven actual
employees.
(3) As at 8 April 2014, 5.10 full-time
equivalent AIEOs are employed.
(4) There are currently six actual
employees.
(5) All AIEOs
currently employed at Broome Primary School have a contract through to the end
of term 1—that is, 5.10 FTEs and six employees. It is anticipated that
it will employ 5.10 FTEs in term 2. However, as an independent public school,
it may opt to employ additional AIEOs in term 2. Employees may also choose to
cease their contract.
(6) The funding
allocation for Broome Primary School will not be decreased during 2014. If the
school experiences significant growth in student enrolments, the school may be
eligible to receive additional funding.
